Visit Cappadocia, Turkey. It’s a magical, historical, friendly region of Turkey whose fairy chimneys will capture your imagination. My daughters loved the idea that fairies lived inside. It was easier for them to believe the houses were for fairies instead of Turkish families. Wonderful hikes and tours abound.

The calm, crystal clear pools are formed by the lava rocks spilling into the ocean and are a spectacular setting for Big Island snorkeling and sunbathing. Combined with a visit to Volcanoes National Park, the Big Island makes for an excellent family beach vacation full of adventure.
