One of our most memorable Spanish experiences was the Fallas festival in Valencia, Spain. I had heard about this city-wide street festival with its towering sculptures that were burned on the last night, but I was in no way prepared for the pageantry and processions, the afternoon mascleta and brilliant La Nit del Foc fireworks at 2:00am.
